Brookings, OR watercolor

Back in May(?), my good friend and I took a day trip to the Oregon Coast to start some watercolor landscape paintings on site. It was a windless, warm, clear-skied day at the peak of wild iris season. This is from a particularly dynamic/ruff area of coastline where the Chetko River meets the ocean - I look the liberty of making the painting stormy.
